What ingredients to look out for?

What ingredients should I look out for when I'm buying something from the supermarket?

I already know gluten and gelatin, but what else?

Update:

Woops, must have gotten them confused.

    Gluten is not haram sister...

''Gluten is a special type of protein that is commonly found in rye, wheat, and barley. Therefore, it is found in most types of cereals and in many types of bread. Not all foods from the grain family, however, contain gluten. Examples of grains that do not have gluten include wild rice, corn, buckwheat, millet, amaranth, quinoa, teff, oats, soybeans, and sunflower seeds. ''

I suggest fresh meat, vegetables, fruit and stay away from going down aisles that is where the bad foods are. Too much salt and fat. Also if you eat fresh you don't have to worry too much about preservatives.

Oh, a few. Pepsin, Renit. There's some discussion about MSG.

That's all I can say right now.
