Does the First Family go to church?
I can remember seeing other presidents and their families going to church on Sunday. I dont think I've never seen coverage of the Obamas at church services or even heard which church they attend. When he was elected he said that he would be checking out churches in Washington DC but I see more coverage of other family outings and nothing of a religious nature. I wonder if he thinks that he doesnt need any help from his Higher Power in his life?
I dont think that they are Muslims but I did think that they were some type of Christians and just wondered if they had ever found a church in Washington DC
Other presidents have attended church regularly and no one bothered them. I know he's busy but he certainly finds time to play golf and other things that he likes to do so just thought he might want to spend a little time praying to ask for guidance or just to say thanks for helping me to get this job.
Doug, you have a good point. However, as one who does both public and private prayer, I just wanted to know if the first family resembled mine on Sunday.

He should be worrying more about the economic state of America than sitting in a pew for 3 hours.
Seriously, I doubt the President has time on Sunday to go to Church. And even if he did go to church, everyone would SWARM to go see him and it'd just interrupt everything! What's the point?

Considering that Jesus said that prayers in public were hypocritical, and that if you really wanted to pray, you should do it in private, how do you know that Obama isn't praying?

I saw them on TV exiting from church once and that was it. I don't believe they attend church for true meaning of attending. If they do attend it is more for how it looks. He is not a Christian anyway, he is muslim from what I have heard.

He never admitted to being Muslim, he said he had muslim relatives, but once again christians hear what they wanna hear.
