is a bypass module necessary for all vehicles for remote start?
I don't have one of those anti theft things in my van I own a very basic 2006 grand caravan the only cool stuff it has is the electric windows and locks and i wanted to get a remote started and keyless entry put in it. a viper if that matters. I don't want to buy stuff that I don't need. thanks

Its not needed as long as you do not have any type of factory alarm system in the vehicle now..........
