Felow red sox fans, would this trade make sense?

Since the Sox need a left fielder, they could shed payroll without going back to bay. They could get Garry Matthews Jr. from the Angels for the following players:

1. Casey Kelly

2. Clay Buchholtz

3. Westmoreland

4. Kalsh

5. Isglesis

6. Pimetel

7. Bowden

8. Lars Anderson

9. Anthony Rizzo

10. Tazawa

11. Reddick

12. Doubront

and a couple of low level prospects.

This seams fair on both sides. Considering Gary's great .250 and .240 BA over the last two years.

    Gary Matthews Jr? He's 35 years old, and to trade all those young athlete's for him, I don't think would be the best deal they could get.

    I can't tell if you're joking or not but I'm guessing you probably are, 'cause that would be a pretty awful trade to make. Giving away some of the highest prospects and young players with potential to get a guy who isn't even that great a player? The Red Sox would have to be high or something to actually accept an offer like that.
