If the "science is settled", why did they have to cook the books, fudge data and hide skeptical reports?

Over the last decade, no legitimate climate scientist could dispute that global warming is real. Its not an issue at all in scientific circles and journals. If you read the top journals in ALL of science (PNAS, Nature, Science), you'll notice there is NEVER a reference in papers to the 'possibility of warming", as there was fifteen years ago.

Global warming is real. Take it from the scientific community, theres no real arguments anymore.

The first time I flew into LA Calif. with my parents I was sixteen in 1969 . Having grown up in the pristine mountains of the South West the pollution that hung over that immense city was hot and stifling to me .Fortunately we were moving to a Naval Air base more north along the coast .

I knew way back then that this pollution could not go on forever with out something

happening to the atmosphere .

I have never needed science to tell me or verify what my natural senses already knew .

Who's smarter, someone from U of Colorado or someone from MIT?

Apparently, he doesn't understand that their is SOME dissent about that point. You are citing, for reference, groups that gain monetarily from the warming studies. Remember that old saying?? Follow the money? Guess where it all goes?? Remember Mt. St. Helens? CO2 does indeed create a blanket like effect, but, fortunately, trees just devour the stuff. They love it!! So, even if it IS warming...and it isn't, that would be good for crops and trees and plant life everywhere....and isn't that just sweet? You all better HOPE for warming over cooling. Can't farm much in ice. Just doesn't work...

Just because that's what he says doesn't make it true. Things like evidence are kinda important too. There are financial and politcal motivations behind the studies about global warming. It's not science.

You'll find both brands of those who switch. Maybe he just bought stock in one of these BS outfits. The real question is 'Why did the researchers at the CRU have to falsify the data unless it doesn't support this lib nonsense?
