If you are talking about Thai sticky rice, buy black sticky rice (it looks purple when cooked) because the flavour is through the roof! I don't have any recipes for the rice itself, but the link I'm including will show you how to cook it; and it's takes a bit of time to do so. I do know that this rice is awesome with stir-fry; and that's what I use it for...I'm also the lazy chef, in that, since my Thai place is just down the street - I buy it cooked from them to use when I make stir-fry. Oh, I take it back about not having recipes - in the link I included, it has a recipe!
Enjoy!

I'm not sure if sticky rice is the same as sushi rice, but you'll want to use a short or medium-length rice, not long or jasmine--you will have poor results. I found several directions for making traditional Thai-style sticky rice. Below is a link for sushi rice. Best of luck!

Curried Shrimp in Coconut Milk 1 tablespoon Canola Oil 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 tablespoon Garlic Ginger Paste 1 teaspoon Garam masala 1/2 Onion finely chopped or minced 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon 1 teaspoon Turmeric 1/2 pound Shrimp 1 teaspoon Red chile powder 1 can (12 oz) Coconut milk 1 teaspoon Cumin Cilantro as garnish Stir the onion into the garlic/ginger paste. Mix the spices in a bowl. Heat the canola oil in a large pan and add the onion paste and spice mixture and saute for about two minutes on medium heat. Add the shrimp, stir, and cook until they are just done. Add the coconut milk, turn down the heat a bit, and wait for the coconut milk to boil. Stir the mixture, wait for it to boil again and then turn off the heat. Serve over basmati rice and garnish with cilantro.
