How to flatten out a bend in a new rug?

I just got this rug and the way it was folded has created a long wrinkle/bend in it. What is the best way to get it flattened out?

    weights of some kind (heavy cans, etc..)

    Time will fix it...to hasten the process apply steam. Steam should be applied at safe distance, no closer then 3 inches, to the front and the back of the rug if possible.

    Doing nothing the rug will have a memory of being flat and go back to shape eventually.

    I would get it damp and pull it tight and weigh it down so the crease is pulled out. Leave it for awhile and hope it stays straight. Hopefully it would work!

    Fold it the other way and iron it
