If I recall correctly it comes with the component cable and standard aux. Nothing else is necessary even if it doesn't come with copmonent cable you can't use anyways. So go ahead and save your money for the HD tele and when you get one worry about the cable thne :D

Well if there are green blue and red colored ports in the back then you would want to go out and buy some component cables but if it doesn't have that you can't use them so don't get it other than that you would just have to stick with the regular cords you get with the ps3 the red white and yellow that is about all you could do if you want component cables though get them here https://www.cablesforless.com/c-743-ps3-cables-acc... that would be your best price for either cables depending on if you lost the others or you didn't get them with you ps3 and the idiot who said there isn't a difference between component and HDMI is a dufus because the highest a component cable can run at is 420p or i and a HDMI cable maxes out at 1080p so your stupid.

I dont care about em points.
Your TV isnt HD, so there's absolutely NO need for an HDMI cable. Standard/Video component cables are go for your situation. But check the front/back of it for component cable ports (red, white, yellow) to see if your PS3 will even support it.
And also, I mentioned standard cables (the 3 colors), so check as well if you have more than 3 ports (3+ blue, green (I think) ) to see if you can get video component cables. THOSE cables will give as much quality as an HDMI cable.

If your tv is not hd there is no need to get a HDMI cable at all. Just use the composite cables that come with it. If the tv is not hd than it wont have an HDMI input on the it to use anyway.

i'm compltely the fan of PS3...The wii sounds like a device for little toddlers and inebriated adults..Its relaxing, however the device basically isn't that severe and in my case not relaxing. although the PS3 is an staggering device with super photographs and a geared up in blu-ray participant. If u are a severe gamer then you definately would desire to definitly get Ps3 it rather is a lot greater suitable over the wii.. although u did not specify which sort u are, So its a tossup. i want PS3
