What is the southern or "lower" german greeting?

Where as Guten Tag is northern

Then 'n Tag

.. what is the most informal greeting??

    I would like to point out that "Grüß Gott" (or Gruess Gott if you dont have the matching keyboard) is in fact NOT an informal, but a formal greeting (in Bavarian/Austrian dialect). It may be seen as informal in the nothern part but the informal variant is "Servus".

    Standard: Guten Tag!

    Casual: Tag!

    Northern casual: Moin!

    Southern: Grüß Gott!

    "Moin" is in north Germany the greeting:)

    You can also say "Moin moin".

    *edit:

    in south Germany it is "Servus" or Grüß Gott"
