How to make an rc dune buggy amphibious?

Basically waterproofing it and making it float with outer modifications, as I do not want to open it up. I was thinking along the lines of a flat bottom with a ramp on the front angled up and the wheels drive it on land and through water. Just looking for suggestions.

There's no real way to do it without opening it up. Even if you get it to float, the amount of water getting thrown up from the tyres in the water will drench the electrics inside the car.

Also, you have to think about how it will steer. You could mount ski's on the front wheels and fit huge paddle tyres on the back if your buggy is rear wheel drive. But that isn't really amphibious, as you would have to fit and remove the ski's every time.
