Is there a way to make Daemon Tools take the place of your cd drive temporarily?

I had a game called Hellgate: London and I lost it and I want to play it in single-player so I torrented it but it asks for the CD. I have Daemon Tools but it seems to automatically go to the cd drive when looking for the cd.

Also, I tried downloading a crack, to bypass cd requirements but for some reason I always get the error message: "The procedure_FMOD_Memory_Initialize@20 could not be located in the DLL fmodex.dll."

If you can solve either problems I would appreciate it :)

Update:

As I said, Daemon Tools isn't cutting it, I used Daemon Tools to install it but now it is automatically going to the CD Drive and unless Daemon Tools can replace it temporarily I don't think Daemon Tools is helping.

Daemon Tools has a "mount" option, where it creates a virtual CD drive to load ISO/BIN/MDS/CUE/MDF CD image files, it won't overtake your CD drive, but will act like a 2nd one.

simply run the program and find the mount option.

if you're still looking for a 'no cd' patch, websites like crackspider, mscracks and megagames all have those files, but be careful of viruses
