Last night a program called antivirus pro 2009 attacked my computer, I cannot do anything at all. I cannot run any antivirus or spyware on my computer or open anything at all. I think the only thing I can do is completely crash my computer and redo everything. I am hoping someone can help me out. If you can please email me or IM me so I can get this done right and fix my computer. I am on my laptop right now.

The first thing to know is that your computer was hijacked by a fake Antivirus, in some cases it is difficult to remove but you can remove it with some security software tool, I'd recommend Avira AntiVir - Boot Sector Repair Tool to remove it from system startup , first you download later, you run it and need to burn it to CD, now only insert the CD and restart the computer, now is when the system started with the CD to remove the virus.
Look for it and download it here: http://www.realuserh.blogspot.com/

Your best off spending $80 and having a professional fix this for you.
Note: as for the guy telling you to buy a MAC, bear in mind that at this years CanSecWest conference, the MAC was the quickest machine (under 2 mins) to be hacked, during a contest. Same thing happened last year too, the MAC fell first.
The main reason virus are more prevelant in a Windows environment is entirely due to market share. If im writing a virus, why would i waste my time writing it from something with a %5 market share ?

Try using a different computer to download and burn Trinity Rescue Kit to a cd. Put the cd in the hijacked computers cd drive and restart machine, from there you can scan your computer for viruses or manually remove the files to exit, eject the disk and restart

sorry to tell you this but the ONLY way to rid your machine of antivirus pro is to reformat the machine and reinstall a fresh copy of windows. Hope you have your recovery disk or your operating system disk somewhere or you can get into a fat bill buying a new one.

Turn of your laptop and when it starts up press F8. that should bring you to a screen where you can choose safemode. Choose that and you should be able to gain some control back :) hope that helps.

I have to agree with the first guy. Get a mac. They're easier to hack but it happens much less often.

You're going to have to take it to a pc tech. Check your local ones, sometimes they're cheaper or go to geek squad. Nothing you yourself can do.
