Ok what you need to do is go back to the store you got your computer from. There is a time limit to how long ago you got your computer. It is June 22, 2009 for the Toshiba model I got. Not sure about other ones. The store should have a stock of coupons to let you know where to contact them for information on how to get the set-up disc.

That disc will have the product key with it to download the new Windows. It is only for upgrade from Vista. If you have XP you are SOL. Please do not ask others for their disc because it is not set up for your model and its serial number which will be built in to the disc and will report it to Microsoft at the time you download the Windows 7 files.

p.s. It's free, at least from Toshiba if that is your model
