Will this gear shift knob work?

I need an answer quick!

Boyfriend has a 2003 Honda Civic, Automatic.

I want to buy him this

but it has an overdrive button... Will that interfere with the basic function? Or will it just do nothing if you press it...

I was also considering this...

I really really don't know what I'm doing anyway. maybe none of these will fit/work and I'll have to send them back...

No, the knob doesn't have a safety button or any other button, you just pull :)

    Does the normal shift knob have the overdrive button? If it doesn't I'm not quite sure about this but there will probably be an additional wire and it just wont connect anything so it will probably be fine.
