Have you gotten a college degree online?

If so, what college did you go through, what degree did you study for, and would you recommend it? I'm seriously considering online college to finish off my Associates degree and then continue on and get my Bachelors, but I'd like to know what schools people have had a positive experience with, both during studies and afterwards in getting a job, etc with your degree.

Any advice, recommendations, or other info you know about online colleges will be appreciated :)

From I gather unless you're signed up at a College and take the classes from them online, the others that offer such degree's are not reliable and most people who are trying to get hired or even just submit the document is not worth the paper is it written on.

Hope this helps and if I were you, I'd call around to some colleges and see what you can find out.

The best so far is Devry. I am attending right now, I finish my 1st semester next week. Classes start Jan.3rd though if you sign up now. It's an awesome school so far, very understandable. I am going for my Associate's in Health Information Technology. Sounds complex, but it really is simple. I want to be a medical billing and coding specialist, so this degree opens the way for that and many other fields. When you finish you should be able to get certified and registered through the state exam and make a good 30-45k a year. Which is pretty comfy for a single mom of 1 like myself :) Hope this helps.
