Is it worth spending $60 on 2k10?
I've read some forums with endless lists of glitches in this game. This makes me wonder whether I should just change my mind and buy Live 10. Supposedly a patch was released (wtf is a patch and how is it obtained)? If this patch thing fixes most of the glitches, I'll buy it.
Do you have personal experience with these 2k glitches?

i own both of them and 2k10 is by far a superior game. the online had major lag issues but have since been fixed because of the patches that you refered. when a company or developer releases a "patch" it is to fix cheats, glitches and other things. as long as you are connected to xbox live or psn you will be promted to dowload the fixes once you turn the system on with the game inserted.

a patch is a piece of free software released by the developer to smooth over or eliminate glitches or in some cases add new content
its obtaine dby downloading it either via the pc and then transferring it to the console or downloading it directly to the console
