Do ipod touch apps require wi-fi?

Some do and some don't, it all depends on which ones you want.

My favorite free apps are all the Tap tap revenge apps, Paper toss, iBeer, Google earth, and Facebook.

There are apps out there that do require a Wi-Fi connection to work, but there are many apps that don't. Most of the Wi-Fi required apps are online, multi player apps. There are others that don't require wi-fi, but have high score data bases or online options that do require Wi-Fi. These apps function just fine without Wi-Fi. And there are apps that don't require Wi-Fi at all, no online features, just offline app.

Some of my personal favorites are:

Tower Madness by Limbic Software, the title says all. A fun, addictive tower game.

Tap Tap Revenge 2, the only free Tap Tap out there, basically Guitar Hero for iPod.

Lastly, Astro Tilt, fun brick breaker app.

Some do. Safari,any map app,youtube,myspace,facebook, etc all require a gateway(wifi)

Certain games my want a connection to upload scores to a database but its not required.

As far as apps go, I am a fan of the term " theres an app for that" cuz sure enough there is. I have found levels,broadband speedtests, bathroom locaters,flashlights, even a dog whistle lol (trust me it worked). I love games so I have hunting/fishing/racing/flying stuff.

I am a WOW addict and have my account authenticator for that and an app for viewing my toons.

I have crosswords, sudoku, cards and last but not least they kitty cannon LOL.

With the age of apps you really can customize your itouch to reflect you. If you have att service I would get an Iphone its cheaper for the phone than the touch.

Some ipod touch apps will require wifi to use them but not many do. You will also need either a computer with access to internet or wifi to get them. A few of my favorite free apps are jelly car, tic tac toe and sheep lauch lite.

to download them you need Wi-Fi. To run the app you do not require wi-fi, but if there is an online feature on the app you will need wi-fi.

most ipod touch application do not need internet acess only when your downloading them. some apps may be able to go to the internet to compare a score from a game for example. if you dont have wi fi dont worry. most apps dont need it,

No, not all of them do require wi-fi to play. I know one that does, that is Touch Pets Dogs. My favourite free app would have to be cube runner and Papi Jump

Only some apps can be used while not connected to wi-fi. Texting and e-mail do while apps with their own content, such as Kindle and some games, do not.

you only need the online access if you wanted to post a score or something, and if you and your significant other are indecisive about where to eat all the time like me download the urban spoon app and it will find you somewhere to eat easily

Some do, some don't just depends on which you app you buy.
