physics guitar string/ wave speed problem?

If the fundamental on a 60 cm guitar string is 320 Hz, what is the wave speed on the string?

    steps. The fundamental will have only one antinode at the mid. So half wavelength. Hence wavelength will be twice ie 2*60 cm or 120 cm or 1.2 m.

    Wave speed = freq * wavelength = 1.2*320 = 384.0
