Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition?
Hi! I just wanted to know whether the nokia 5800 navigation edition which has "Lifetime pedestrian and vehicle voice-guided navigation licenses" works all over the world? I mean the maps and all, the voice guiding and other GPS functions. If I buy this phone in asia, will the license work in North America?

Yes, it will as by default the map info for US and Canada is preloaded onto the phone
Map data of 180 other countries can be downloaded for the handset for free using the Nokia Map Loader PC app.
Every thing that has to do with maps,voice-guidance and license to use them is free.
Why don't you buy 5800 xpessmusic edition and use garmin gps on it, trust me the default nokia maps are no match for garmin's MobileXT navigation system..

For enterprise objective it extremely is a awful piece. For purely listening to track and video apparently like a super piece. known telephone operation isn't consumer friendly. digital mail and archives superhighway surfing too cumbersome. Emails are not getting deleted. Very sluggish. maximum 0.33 party softwares like dictionary do no longer artwork. Typing is awful. Keyboard is undesirable. you should type two times sometimes - too lots of a worry!
