1996 Chryler sebring. Smoking problems?

When I start up my 1996 Chrysler Sebring. Smoke starts coming through the vents. When I let the hood up. I don't see any coming from the motor. Someone said that it may be coming from the cooant system. Is there any way I can find out where the smoke is coming from. Engine runs great.

If it's actually smoke it could be electrical.

But it's most likely steam from a leaking heater core. If this is the case your windows probably steam up quickly and your cooling system may be low.

Not much fun to fix. The entire dash has to come out and the A/C system will have to be evacuated and recharged.

You should probably consider taking it to your dealer or a qualified repair shop.

    Best of Luck!
