How Can hi do highlights on my spiky hairstyle?

I have short hair and Normally I spike it up. I want to highlight or just color the spike just a tiny bit. Other than going to the salon are there any easy to use products?

Some high light kits contain caps that you can put on your head and pull the hair through the holes in it,if you are thinking of doing this,I would go this route.Make sure to read the box thoroughly unless you are having this professionally done.Hope this is of some help.

when you go to put the highlights in,put it on your hands and just run it through the back of your hair and try to do it as even as possiable. only put alittle bit,and know that the salons always overdo it.

there are highlighting kits at drug stores that have little brushes to put the highlights just where you want them.
