Where to go on new years eve night in amsterdam?
Help? My partner and i have booked to go away to Amsterdam New Years Eve and is really looking forward to it. I recently bought a long Black latino dress and my partner has a suit. We want to go somewhere very formal and romantic on new year's eve. Any suggestions??
We are looking at going to Escape if we had no ideas???

I cannot speak for Amsterdam, but my experience of New Years Eve in the Netherlands, is that not all bars and clubs are open, and some of those that are, often open just before midnight. (That I suppose is better than years ago when you had to wander around looking for the oasis of an open bar anywhere)
I would imagine if you are staying in an hotel, that they would have information on the type of venue you want. Possibly the hotel in which you are staying?

Trams run till 2000 or so. After that it rather is taxis. Tram some euros at maximum, taxi, nicely in spite of they are able to flee with, 30-40 euros person-friendly, i might stay fairly sober on new years eve, it is going to be problematical sufficient to save away from fireworks and later interior the night burning petrol bottles, bricks and if it rather is an exceedingly excited one, tear gass.
