How about an uncensored, unreported section?

Why not a section where people who just want to scream, rant, rave, curse, whatever can just go into a little restricted section and have at it? No reporting allowed.

Update:

All of you do have a point: some people would probably log into the section just to be offended and whine about it.

It seems that "offense" is a good source of business these days. If I was to go into law, I think I'd be an "offense lawyer". I'd make a killing during the holidays.

If there was a unrestricted section what would Yahoo's liability be if something happened to someone because of what was said or a lawsuit came up. That's why there is no free section>_<

I can imagine that several personality types would use it to whinge and take offence even though it would be clearly marked non censored. Society itself is civilising for some people: but the weak do need protecting.

However I do get your point, some people are deemed more worthy of protection than others: it always annoys me for instance that the British media is allowed headlines along the lines of "Cynthia Celebrity is much too thin" but we are never allowed to say "Barbara Bucketfood" is far too fat! Poor Kate Moss was pilloried for saying that you cannot eat everything you want if you want to stay slim and was accused of starting an epidemic of eating disorders: we all know that it is mainly OBESITY killing people rather than Anorexia, tragic though that is.

There I have had my daily rant, thank you!
