yahoo messenger pop up info box?
When I log into yahoo messenger another informational window opens also. It gives you a snapshot of mail, buzz, your status, etc... In the upper right corner is your pic/avatar and there's always some text next to it and It's always different text when I sign in. Who changes this text and how?

They are the Updates to yours and your Contacts' activities.
TO STOP YOUR OWN UPDATES APPEARING:
Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner of the Messenger Pane.
Click on "Manage Updates I Broadcast".
This will take you to your Profile page.
UNTICK the box "Share my Updates".
Click on "Save" at the bottom of the page.
TO MANAGE THE UPDATES FROM YOUR CONTACTS:
Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner of the Messenger Pane.
Click on "Preferences".
Click on "Yahoo Updates".
Click on the box "Customise Yahoo! Updates".
Untick the boxes next to your Contacts' names for the updates you do not wish to see.
Click on "OK" at the bottom.
