What happens when a vampire bites someone with HIV/Aids? Does he pass the disease on to others?

Good question! I had never thought of this as being a problem... but yeah, as popular as vampires have become in the last couple of years this is an important question to ponder for all those wanna-bees!

It all depends on the type of vampire you are asking about (since there are way too many different kinds to name). But no, most of the vampires in history cannot hold onto a virus or a disease. That is why if a person is dying of...cancer and they turn into a vampire, they no longer have cancer. If you have HIV/AIDS and you are bitten by a vampire, then I suppose you could still HAVE the disease, but I doubt you could pass it on or it could still be effective. If you want, however, a vampire to be able to pass along the disease, then by all means, let him. Vampires sparkle now. Anything else is possible.

if you mean fictional vampires than that can be debated, as vampires don't get sick, but if there was still HIV in his/her mouth and fangs(like a dirty needle) then possibly.

If you mean people who are "real vampires" I'm not sure, but they could quit possibly contract HIV if they bit someone with it, especially if they had a cut in their mouth.

How would a Nurse know if vampires don't get sick? Inquiring minds want to know. Are nurses vampires?
