a henna tattoo is not permanent, it is semi-permanent, which means it will last longer then a temporary, but unlike a permanent, it will fade over time, usually two to four weeks depending on how long you leave the henna paste on and what kind of henna you use. I used to get them all the time when i was younger (middle eastern family!) but when i got older i developed this kind of phobia where i only liked them on my hands for the first week, yet as soon as they started to fade i would start to freak out! (yeah i know its weird>>) like i would feel dirtty and stuff, wayyyyy OCD. Its been a while, but the next time me and my baby go on a vacation somewhere warm where skin is showing, i think il get it professionally done all over my arms and my legs.
