help yahoooooo :D history a level question...?

When the Nazi Party came to power they controlled the media through intimidation and violence. They used this to blame the Jewish community for all the problems the average German citizen had to live with. They also put plain clothed party members in the streets to incite riots and trouble. Germany had been burdened with the cost of the Great War and the country was in a economic bust. All of this combined with what the Nazi Party was promising brought the public out to support the Nazi Parties move to grab power. So as for if their propaganda was ineffective, in Germany it worked rather well.
