How do I make a clay pot that can get wet?
I would like to make a wall-mounted planter. I do not have a kiln and will be using store-bought air-dry clay.
Is there a specific type of sealer I should use?

You're going to be doing a lot of work for something that won't work in the end.
If this pot is going to be outside, and holding a plant, it just won't stand up to the elements regardless of what you spray or seal it with. Sorry, but it's just the case.
Instead of spending a lot of time and effort on your project, you can buy a beautiful pot/planter like this for less than $15 and call it a day. I suggest you go shopping.

Get a clear acrylic spray and be sure to coat the thing inside and out.
