B/c of the numerous iciness Solstice celebrations that got here approximately. The catholic church on the time desperate it may be easier to take all the celebrating and say it exchange into b/c of their faith (eye roll) for this reason evergreen timber are embellished and mistletoe and holly are used as decorations, even with having NO connection to a sprint one Jew being born in a barren area. i'm uncertain if the lighting fixtures are basically b/c or if it specially has to do with the undeniable fact that the W.S. marks the shortest day of the 365 days...the subsequent being the 1st day the solar is interior the sky a sprint longer. The nativity set did no longer seem till around 1500, 1600.
