For a drop weight tennis stringing machine how do you determine the tension? Is it at the bottom or top of it?

Ok is the tension measured at the bottom or the top of the weight?

The bottom of the weight, closest to the pivot point.

  • Are you stringing your rackets yourself? If so then Bobby is correct.

Otherwise just take them to a tennis shop and tell them what tension you want for your strings and they will take care of it.

What's the pivot point ? What's that mean!
