I often use a mix of 50% window cleaner and 50% rubbing alcohol (isoprophyl) to clean windows. Not only does the alcohol keep the product from freezing, it helps prevent streaking. And it also turns plain old window cleaner into an antibacterial cleaner. Remember that the doctor/nurse always wipes down your arm with alcohol before giving you a shot?

Don't use the antifreeze you put in your car's engine. The stuff you use for the windshield washer should be okay but not if you're spraying it. I'd use isopropyl alcohol for spraying. Just add a bit to the windex. You can buy it at any drugstore

Use alcohol or mix windex and deicer you put in your car window washer bottle it works fine on windows. Do not mix alcohol and windex, it's like mixing ammonia and bleach. Really you should never mix anything with an ammonia product, it's not safe.
