Your dog is spoiled just like my little shih tzu was for a long time. They want the best tasting food you feed them and expect it all the time. If they don't think the food is good enough and want the better stuff, then they try to wait you out and hope you will take pity on them and finally give them the really good stuff. Give in to them all the time and you end up with a very spoiled picky eater.
I still give my dog some of the good stuff he really likes from time to time when I cook steak, chicken, liver, etc. but most of the time I make him eat his nutritious dog food specifically made for dogs. I don't give in anymore when he tries to wait it out for the good stuff. When he gets hungry enough, he will eat his dog food. He used to wait me out a long time (once it was 2 days), but we don't go through that anymore since he knows I won't give in like I used to do. I used to have to throw away so much dog food when he was spoiled. Now when he refuses to eat it, I simply pick it up and put it in the frig until much later and try again. I don't throw it away anymore. He ends up eating it before the day is done.

actually chicken livers and sweet potatoes are healthy for dogs, but not for everyday. the livers have more iron than other meat, so a dog should really only get livers like once or twice a week. an easy recipe is making a stew and freezing it in ice cube trays, so that you can just pop one out and heat it up at mealtimes. i would recommend using oats, ground beef or chicken, milk, a canned veggie, and chicken broth. let this simmer in a pot in the oven for a couple hours.

Dogs are omivores and need a healthy blend of meats, veggies, and grains. A vet can make a recommendation, but it is absolutley necessary that you stop feeding him a diet of liver and potatoes or you dog with have a severely shortened lifespan.

He'll eat what you 'll feed him. Might go hungry for a day or two but he'll eat it.
Very unhealthy diet you've got him on now. make the break to proper dog food.
( Organ meat, like liver, is very hard on the arteries/heart.)

Try introducing some dog food into the human food in a bowl. only a little, adn when he eats it praise him. If he is hungry enough, he will eat it. Then VERY slowly introduce a little more food. He should soon eat dog food. He is quite young, so you should do it now.

my dog eats only what ever the hell i feed it!
tough love baby, the dog eats what you put in his bowl or he goes hungry.
i guarantee your dog will be less fussy within a few days. to start off try him on something gentle like ecopet rolls which are free of nasty fillers, colours and preservatives, and start researching the best diet for your dog in the meantime.
