You are talking about 3rd world countries that have not even the basic needs for people readily available.

If you want to see North America doing that you don't have to look at Muslims, just go to any of the southern states.

Since becoming a revert Muslim back in 1989 I have heard many an

accusation about my faith and many about the Prophet Muhammad

(SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) whom I hold very dear. To hear him

being referred to as being a child molester or a paedophile fills me

with such disgust that I would like to speak my mind in plain

language. What happened was a long time ago and is well documented

and well above reproach and in reality we would never discus this

issue other than to acknowledge that yes he married a young girl but

did not sleep with her until she had reached her puberty. This is

where the issue as it reflects on Islam stops.

However, the pompous hypocrisy of the non-believers has a lot to

answer for on their side for child molestation and I do not mean just

paedophiles still persists. Even today girls as young as 8, 9 10, 11

and 12 are being exchanged for debts to become child brides within

Malawi and Kenya. These debts can amount to no more than $16 and it

robs a child of its childhood and life. They can be second wives and

nothing more than servants to the main wives whims and wishes.

Let us go back in time a little more, to the English throne and

especially Richard II who married the daughter of King Charles VI of

France, who was named Isabella de Valais. She was only 8 years of age

and by the age of 10 had already given birth. If we go a little

further back we find Edward II who married another Isabella who was

just 12 years of age. Edward I married Eleanor in 1254 and she was

just 13. Henry III married Eleanor of Provence who was also 13. King

John's second wife Isabella of Angouleme was just 13 when they

married in 1200. King Stephen married Matilda in 1119 and she was the

eldest royal child bride at just 14.

From this short list it can be seen that the royals of both England

and France accepted for a long time the notion of child brides and

these are the ones that have been well recorded similar to that

surrounding the Prophet (SallAllah-u-Alaihi-wa-Sallam) and his bride.

What about the unknown brides that followed the same path of the

royals. In Islam there is only one, while there are many within

Christianity. Before we shout at each other over who is right and who

is wrong, spare a thought for the young children today in Africa who

are being traded as debt relief and for those who are being subjected

to paedophile attacks, which is not only morally wrong but also an

attack against civilisation. Islam stands for the very protection of

all children irrespective of their families faith or the child's

gender. All children are precious and should be protected from harm

and abuse. We may differ in our faith but some things truly unite us

and one of those is children and their well being.

We can definitely conclude from the biography on Asmaa, Aisha’s elder sister, that Aisha was at a marriageable age when she got married to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The old biography books write about Asmaa as follows: “When Asmaa was 100 years of age, she died in the seventy third year of the Emigration (Hijrah). During the Emigration, she was exactly 27 years old. Since Aisha was 10 years younger than her sister was, she needs to be at her 17. Besides, she had been engaged to Jubair before she married the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). some people believe that if you set a little girl out in the sun she matures very fast, but some people believe that a 9 year old little girl is not ready to be a mother or wife.

This is not a laughing matter, because a lot of rich Muslims do go and buy young girls to "marry" and stupid people like Bilal Phillips, Yusuf Estes and Zakir Naik have gone on record supporting the ones that do these kinds of sick things, because Mohammad did so with Aisha.

What Mohammad did was sick enough, but perpetuating this in the name of "Religion" is even more sick.

back in the prophets time PBUH, people reached the age of puberty far quicker than these days especially in the middle east as a result of the climate (i even asked my science teacher about this so i aint BS-ing)

people matured at a much earlier age

men married small girls to save them from destitution and support them if they were orphans

the Prophet PBUH, may have married her at 6 or 9 or whatever you want to say but did not consumate the marriage until she had reached the age of puberty (which is when they are physically and mentally ready for sexual relations and which would have been at a very young age)

so what your westernised, brainwashed mind thinks is far from what was considered normal back in the old days
