Survey: Do you think it's wrong to thumbs down people's opinions?

I basically thumbs down whilst human beings attempt to grant scientific suggestion this is so of course incorrect as this is risky and deceptive. For all different issues its somebody else's opinion which they're entitled to have. i could not accept as true with it yet its their suited to hold it. i does not agonize if it replaced into shown that I had thumbs down an answer via fact of what I mentioned above - i don't do it that many times.

There's nothing wrong with giving thumbs down.

I think this feature has a purpose.. So the asker can see what other people think of each other's answers. Just being given a list of options can be confusing, but seeing if other people give it a thumbs down can hepl you decide if that choice is wise or not.

And believe it or not... some people actually ask questions that have only one right answer.

Yes it's wrong I don't thumbs down unless it's the guy that always answers with some kind of commercial for shoes or something.

Of course it's not wrong! What if someone else's opinion is incredibly stupid? Thumbs down it! What if some weirdo fangirl is raving about how good Twilight is? Thumbs down it! What if some douchebag is raving about how awesome it is to belittle someone else's opinon? Thumbs down it! The anonymity is the most awesome thing about it. I challenge the readers and answerers of this question to give me at LEAST 5 thumbs downs. You can do it!

I agree with you in part. Perhaps the better method would be to do nothing, although everyone is entitled to an opinion, no one has to agree with them. There is the block feature.

Given that according to Yahoo, 90 million have access, I suspect we are all targets to some degree.

i thumb down people who sell crap and trolls, or a really rude one if im in a mood, other than that i feel every one is entitled to an opinion

I thumb up anyone who answers my questions, but if they try to sell me shoes or are insulting (without answering) or answer like "um, dunno, answer my question" then yes, depending on my mood I might thumb them down. But never my contacts and never because of the quality of the answer if they did indeed try to answer my question.

Like, for example, if the question is "Orange juice or apple juice?" and I say apple juice, I'll get thumbed down by everyone that said orange juice. I think it's stupid. It's just my opinion.

It's not wrong. Some answers are plain stupid and out of the question. I don't care if people thumbs me down either.
