After searching a topic, the links take me to random addresses. I installed a new norton anti virus program and it does not seem to be fixing this issue. How do I rid my computer of this annoying problem?

It's not technically a virus. Run Malwarebytes or Spybot Search & Destroy to correct the problem. For a future solution, consider buying Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.

Try to download Malwarebytes from their website and install it on your system. Do an update and when it's done. Click on "Perform Quick Scan". When it's done, click view results and select remove selected items if there's some.
