I got diagnosed with nasal polyps ,and Dr wants to take them out with surgery?
Has anyone had nasal polyps and have them removed with surgery,or found relief without surgery?.If you had them removed was the problem fixed and could you breath better?.

I wish my doctor had told me that 35 years ago when I was diagnosed. All he said was "don't bother, they'll just grow back." I have never breathed out of my right nostril and would like to at some point, so I guess I'll have to get a referral to an ENT doc.

It may cost a bit in time and cash but get another opinion. You can ask questions and then make a decision. I don't know about the growing back thing. I would think that if the whole thing was removed as they do with intestinal polyps, it wouldn't grow back. Perhaps time has given them better Technics. You should feel total trust in your doc, so get more info.
