I need Ethernet adapter driver?
I have an hp pavillion 551w that i just installed windows 7 32bit on, When i got done installing win7 i cant connect to the internet, it says i dont have a driver for my ehternet adapter..
can some one please help me with this ?

Hp's website doesn't have the drivers
I am on my own computer right now and am trying to get another one working for my wife, I dont have the original installation discs, plus i hear that alot of xp drivers dont work for win 7

Use some other computer that is connect to internet and go to the HP's website and download the driver. Copy the driver files in an USB and install in your HP Pavillion 551w.

If you still have the Resource CD that came with your computer, you can use that to install all missing drivers. You should install your chipset drivers first, then your ethernet adapter.
My question is this. I am wondering which computer you are using to send this question?
