Think you can identify a lure from a description? Let's try...?

You know that lure I've been griping about not being able to find for the past week or so? Well, I'm just going to try to describe it, that way I can stop stressing over finding it and maybe it'll turn up (If it does, I will be posting pictures so you guys can see what I'm talking about...)

Ok, picture your basic buzzbait, take the plastic lure part off, and feed it some steroids and crack... the thing's nearly a foot long, has at least a 2/0 hook on the one end, and a big (about 1 inch diameter) plastic gold sparkly "buzzer" at the other... I'm not talking big gold sparkly like this: http://talonlures.com/images/products/detail/TBBTu... I'm talking big gold sparkly like some kid took gold sparkles to it... that one's scaled maybe a big larger than this one is, but it's a big plastic propellor shaped dealy-bobber...

If I have to buy myself a memory card for my phone for christmas, I'm going to do it... I know it's a shot in the dark, but maybe someone will say "Hey! I think I've got that in my tacklebox!!" Never know... it happened in a previous question...

Update:

But we don't have muskies down here...

There's a note in the tacklebox (apparently he got at least a good deal of the contents when he retired, because it's not his handwriting... I've asked around) that says somethng about a "Lucky" hook guaranteed to catch you your first 10 lb sea trout... I'm guessing that's the one it's referring to...

Update 2:

One single hook... as I said, just picture your basic buzzbait... http://www.flyfishohio.com/photogallery/shad%20buz... take off everything that's not metal, replace the little metal spinner with a plastic prop shaped piece and give that plastic prop shaped piece to a kid along with some gold glitter from the craft section at wal-mart or something, make the main framework about a foot long, and put about a 2/0 or 3/0 hook on the end of it... I really wish I could put my pic up (or even better locate it and take a new pic with the camera rather than my phone) and I will do that when I have the chance, but for now, I guess this will have to do...

(hopefully that link works... the one before was an oversized metal buzzbait "prop" {would that be the right term?} that was about the same size... I guess that site just doesn't like people linking to their images...

Update 3:

Aha!!!

I think mine's a smidge bigger, and gold rather than silver, but take the plastic remains off the top one in this picture, and that's it!

Anyone know what that is?!

Update 4:

Um... I guess a link to what I'm talking about is nice... http://cgi.ebay.com/3-OLD-BUZZ-BAIT-TOP'S-FOR-CRAN...

I'd gladly take this as a christmas present... ; )

Yeah, I'm thinking muskie lure too. Almost certainly designed for muskie even if someone used it for something else. Does it just have one hook? Is it a treble hook or single hook? Is the body plastic like a skirt or solid like it's made of painted balsa or something? Where are the hook(s) positioned? Does it have the bent wire arm like a buzzbait?

I'm thinking it might be a heddon lucky or something, see this link and say how close it comes (by the way your link doesn't work)

Never seen anything like that, but I would have to assume that you will want to be checking the saltwater fishing section for it.

Added: I would assume that yes, this is the lure that he is referring to when he says you will catch a 10 pound sea trout. Anything that large and that "sparkly" is going to be for the ocean.

One thing's for sure... that thing's made for muskies...

    I can picture it though.

Your link doesn't open. But anyway, I have a BIG Colorado-blade spinnerbait that weighs about an ounce or ounce and a half and its made for muskies. White body and skirt with a red-skirted treble hook as a trailer. I use it for bass and have had a couple follow it.
