1976 Holden Manero or Falcon?

I want to buy an Austrailian Holden or Ford Falcon (1979,made in the land down under).Do I need to pay some sort of import tax and are parts interchangeable with Canadian or American parts?

    Australian Holden Monaro's and Ford Falcons would have a unique bodyshell and interior but the power plant may have some interchangeable items.

    79 falcon GT would probably use a 351 Windsor V8.

    Monaro may have a GM 253 V8

    Go for the Falcon, I always liked the Mad Max car.
