I got an xbox 360, but graphics on my LCD TV aren't as clear as when in stores. how do i make it clearer?

I have a sharp aquos 42" LCD HDTV and the problem applies to all the games i've played, most notably with NBA 2K10. How do I make the graphics clearer?

    go to the power cable on the back of the xbox and set it to hd

    Do you have the cable in the back hooked up tp HDTV settings? If not that will help greatly

    hdmi cable works wonders the hd switch on the cable will help a little tho
