What is right etiquette behind texting?

I was texting someone and they answered. Then I asked another question and they didn't answer it. I waited for a half an hour then texted them again; they answered. They never did answer my other question I previously asked and then they quit texting back to me. Does this sound like they do not want to talk to me? They have talked to me otherwise and quite often and they do not seem to not want to talk to me. What is etiquette with this behavior in text messaging? Thanks.

Update:

I just wanted to add that I have noticed people in class or even studying with them that they have to answer their texts right then. This is why I asked this question in the first place. If they answered their other texts right then, why didn't they get back with me? Maybe I am thinking too much that is all about me? Hopefully not as I am trying to change this.
