you open an email from the author you dont want, then there is a button above the email where you can say something like, inwanted or spam. and the emails from that author will come in that category which will automatically delete after sometime.

How to block addresses in a Hotmail account:
Click on 'Options" at top right of screen
Options/ More options
Click on 'Safe and blocked senders' under Junk E-mail
Click on 'Blocked senders'
Type in address, then click on 'Add to list'

If anyone ask your email id do not tell them, it is not possible but you can filter them as spam
