Where did Michael Mann's Hockey Stick Graph go?

Actually, if algore were riding his poll numbers, his hockey stick graph would be inverted downward and he would be taking the most breathtaking ride of his life!

It was a lie based on manipulated data, but this does NOT mean we should treat our planet with the contempt we do... however it does show that there is a VERY different agenda from the one we are being bullshitted with by the mainstream media, just underneath the surface.

The J-curve hypothesis HAS been discredited, try the UK magazine New Scientist, which references sources from the Royal Society (a highly respected UK scientific body). The e-mails show that data is being suppressed, twisted and manipulated... WHY?

The only thing we CAN all agree on is that our politicians have been lying through their teeth, THEY are responsible for the poor state of our planet, deforestation, species loss etc - and this proves they cannot be trusted as far as we can throw them!

Sometimes embarrassing documents get lost.

Kinda like the 9th and 10th Amendments.

No. Its still a well established scientific fact. It was published in Nature in 1998, and there has been no paper published to refute or correct it.

The 'hide the decline' statement is taken out of context. This thing has been tested and peer reviewed mutliple times.... there is no real argument that the basic concept still holds. And its not just Mann, either - subsequent papers have confirmed the tree ring data - look at the Oxygen 16 data, for example.

I know its real complicated and not easy to understand... but the scientists would love nothing more than to blow holes in GW. It woudl make a career.

It turned into a flat line. The end was broken off by some real scientists.

Al Gore illustrated how graphs can be constructed to maximize the effect one is looking for. Everyone is finally on to him.
