yeah lol .. it's always been like that. That's the world lol especially with music, people get over protective of a band they don't even know personally just because they want to look cool or smart or whatever.

I love that idea :) I think I'm already gonna be in the story...Unbroken said she wanted to be in a dorm with me, MandyJay, No use for a name, City Nights, I think Belle Danse? and idk who else. But if I have this wrong, then I'd like to be put in the story. Not sure if I'm a regular yet...but oh well :) Laura could be the school bully and Faith could be that one teacher no one likes. Oh and Stella could be the sl*t of school. Oh my gosh I feel so mean! D: lol

Yeah..but it goes both ways. People who like classic rock & metal will tell someone who likes a band like Green Day that their music sucks and they HAVE to listen to rock/metal/etc to have a good taste in music...

don't get me wrong, I love metal and rock but...this goes both ways. I've seen about ten billion people do it here, including a lot of regs. :/

I like it when people recommend a band, based on something that you actually said you like, rather that whatever their favorite band happens to be.

as in:

"Oh, you like X? you should check out Y, they have a similar feel"

as opposed to

"Listen to A"

specifically, if A is nothing like X or Y

i dont think i ever do that, but yes I see it happen quite often.

Let's try to respect eachother a bit more, eh? I know sometimes people can get annoying but there's no reason to put them down for it.

Well, it DOES piss me off when people are like "Oh my gawd why do you like old crap like classic rock it SUCKzzz!!! Paramore is da best!!!"
