clearly no one wants to win the league this season, but someone has to, so who will it be?

Question

Man Utd and Liverpool both lost yesterday and Chelsea losing today.  This league has gone all strange on us.  With no team in the league being able to show the remotest bit of consistency who do you think will finally take the title this season?

The candidates include Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Spurs, Man City, Birmingham, Liverpool and Fulham.

I know one team in there looks a bit ridiculous but never count anyone out.  Liverpool could theoretically still win the league! 

My money (all £10 of it) is on Aston Villa.  They are the only side in the top half (with the exception of Birmingham) who are actually showing signs of improvement and winning consistently.

I don't know. I don't want Man United to win it because they've won it the last three years. They have struggled against the top teams this season but as they've proven so many times they can easily go on big winning streaks. 

Chelsea a few weeks ago were looking like they could walk away with the league but have stuttered. I think Chelsea are capable of going on big winning streaks. 

Arsenal lost 3-0 to Chelsea a few weeks ago but have won a few games and come back into it. I'm not sure whether they've got enough experience to win the title. They have young players though who get another years experience. Wenger has money to spend in January and I think if they get an experienced player they will have a good case.

I don't think the other teams you've mentioned will win the title or be in the running. I think Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal all have good claims for the title.

hopefully chelsea - great squad.
if not it should be arsenal if they can be consistent.
