What's a matzo ball party and what's the difference between all the different ones?
I'm from New York and I keep hearing about these Jewish events and singles parties being thrown on Christmas Eve. They go by different names like the matzo ball or the "Jew ball"... There seems to be a few (at least around NYC), so can someone clarify the various options and what the differences are between them? I'd like to try one out this year but not sure which one is the best for me. Thanks!

There are A LOT of jewish events in New York around Christmastime. The biggest and best is called The Ball. They get a bunch of clubs, let you ride in limos between them, and have like 3000 or 4000 people show up to party all night. its http://www.letmypeoplego.com./
BTW, you should pick my answer because I've been going to these "heeb hops" for years. That one is the best. Jewltide is also good if you are into the live music/Brookly scene. But I'm a Manhattan chick.
