can my laptop connect to a blue ray player?
my laptop has an HDMI out port, does that mean i can connect a blue ray player to it and watch movies? I have a blue ray player but when i plug it in, my computer does not detect any hardware.... HELP!

Why would you want to watch a movie on your laptop? The hdmi on your laptop is so you can get HIGH DEF or a higher resolution picture by plugging your laptop into a bigger monitor i.e LCD, PLASMA etc... thats why they make that on new laptops.
