Online inventory software w/barcode?

There wouldn't be one, because that would have to be custom written. If you get a wedge barcode reader it acts like the keyboard, so it wouldn't need any special software. But an online inventory program? Any half-decent web developer who can handle databases could write one for you - if you have someone who knows exactly what you need, and is experienced in inventory handling. Otherwise you want a developer who'd experienced in inventory handling. (Someone has to be, or you'll get a program with more holes than a trainload of Swiss cheese.)

Sit down with a web developer and get an estimate. Or, if someone in your company can write code, send him or her for a course in web development (make sure it includes AJAX if you want something you can actually use while your grandchildren are still alive). That might be your cheapest option in the long run. (A few good courses would run about $10,000, but then you'd have someone in house to make changes and additions at no additional charge, except his/her time.)

You can take a look at inFlow Inventory. It is a basic inventory system that has all the esstenials.

They have a Free version that is free forever, but limits to 100 products and customers. The software itself is very easy to use and fast to install.
