Fix a crack in laptop screen?

I have a small crack in my laptop screen. It runs all along the left side of the screen. The screen works fine but I just don't want to be able to see that crack it saddens me. Is there any way I can make it go away?

    Actually, no. The only way to make the crack "go away" is to replace the LCD.

    No, purchase a new one http://www.blisscomputers.net/ . Plug in an external LCD or CRT.

    take it to best buy or something. or, BUY MY NEW MIGHTY PUTTY! lol jkjk. you can buy a screen adn try and install it yourself, but that is extremly difficult
