How long can I prepare a lasagna before baking it?

Can I make it three days before I need it and just leave it in the refrigerator until right before baking it?

Three days is well within a safe time frame. Don't freeze it, though. Freezing changes the texture of the cheeses, and it won't be as nice.

Absolutely. I do it all the time. In case you need one, this is an awesome lasagna recipe that always gets incredible compliments from my guests.

  • i would put it in the freezer for the first two days and then put it in the fridge to thaw the day before you want to cook it
